ROCKWIZ LIVE with special guests including MEGAN WASHINGTON

part of Music

The RocKwiz Live event experience takes the best of the popular SBS Saturday night music trivia show and blows it up to a two-hour live show that is full of music, chat, comedy and quiz.

Hosts Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis drive the live show that features the outstanding talents of the expanded RocKwiz Orkestra: James Black (Mondo Rock), Peter Luscombe (Paul Kelly), Mark Ferrie (Models), Ashley Naylor (Even) and the remarkable vocals of Vika and Linda Bull.

RocKwiz Live events feature performances from at least four special musical guests, one of whom will be Spectrum Now Festival music ambassador Megan Washington tonight! Brian Nankervis also selects four contestants from the crowd during the first part of the show, where he puts 18 potential players through three rounds of questions to select the top four.

In the past six years RocKwiz Live has staged four national theatre tours. It has played Zoo Twilights in Perth and Melbourne, The Breath of Life festival in Tasmania, the Pyramid Rock festival at Phillip Island, Homebake in Sydney, the Queenscliff Music festival, Melbourne and Sydney Comedy festivals, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, 15 shows at Byron Bluesfest and eight sold-out nights at St Kilda’s Palais Theatre.

Artists at RocKwiz Live events include the cream of Australia’s heritage and contemporary music industry: Marcia Hines, Dan Sultan, Ross Wilson, Emma Donovan, Russell Morris, Ella Hooper, Joe Camilleri, Adalita, Brian Cadd, Olympia, Normie Rowe, Colleen Hewett, Marlon Williams, Megan Washington and Paul Kelly.

We have also attracted some international names to play live with our Orkestra; Irma Thomas, Donavon Frankenreiter, Ruthie Foster and Michael Franti.
